If this reminds anyone of another recent battle it was with Sony suing Kevin Butler (Jerry Lambert) years ago when the ‘face’ of the PlayStation brand appeared in a Bridgestone commercial standing next to a Nintendo Wii.

Sony has told Kotaku the suit is being filed because “Use of the Kevin Butler character to sell products other than those from PlayStation misappropriates Sony’s intellectual property, creates confusion in the market and causes damage to Sony”.
