Are you one of the few people who can tell that they are thirsty? Well then this product is most definitely not for you.

HidrateMe is a product by these trusting looking people, Nadya Nguyen & Alexandra Feeken,  if you look at their faces you can almost see the ‘I can’t believe that you’re actually falling for this’ expression.

Those are some trusting faces, yes? – ‘We tricked you into thinking this is useful!’

Something odd I noticed about their kickstarter though.  Either people didn’t realize it, but people were opting to pay for the more expensive version of the same bottle.

I’m just blown away that our smart tech has gotten to this point, where people really believe that you need an app and a smart bottle  to actually tell you when you should be thirsty and when you should drink.

Some of their failed competitors:
Trago smart bottle is running a concurrent Kickstarter campaign but just passed the $35,000 mark.

The BluFit raised almost $75,000 on Indiegogo but didn’t reach even half its goal at the time the campaign ran. (These fools wanted $55 for a bottle)

The Hug water bottle sensor and app almost hit its Kickstarter goal of $35,000, topping off at $28,227, these sensors fit onto those oversized and heavy stainless steel water bottles made by S’well. No one in their right mind would that that bottle to the gym.
