Subway, the company that may have ignored warnings that it’s spokesperson liked kids a tad too much, has recently put out two press releases in the last few months.
October 20th, 2015 Subway announced that ‘Pork and Beef will be antibiotic free by 2025.’ & on December 28th, they said “The transition to cage-free eggs has already begun in select markets in the U.S. and Canada and will be completed across its 30,000 North American locations by 2025.”.
How ridiculous is it that this will take 10 years to complete, and even more so, how ridiculous is it that in 2015 they were putting out press releases promising it.
Most likely in 10 years we’ll probably be complaining about all sorts of new food issues anyway.
