Quirky, The NEW Sharper Image, in Every Way

We actually started writing this post months ago, but then it became sidelined with more important bad business news.

A couple weeks ago Quirky entered bankruptcy , (Quirky’s CEO: Quirky is out of money and needs to find funds for itself and Wink).

This is a company that was built back in 2009/2010 based on one single product, the Pivot Power strip.

In 2011, a reality television series named Quirky debuted on the Sundance Channel following events at the Quirky office.

On July 31, 2015, Ben Kaufman stepped down as CEO of Quirky following a layoff of 111 employees due to trouble getting funding.

On September 22, 2015, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Some of their ‘genius’ products.

Such great products, yeah? Can’t imagine why they failed…
